The SI compute race, seen from orbit

Real satellite images of the biggest SI data center builds on Earth, from Stargate in Abilene to Colossus in Memphis. Every clear pass is fetched, kept and read by SI MIND: new buildings, cleared land, power lines and cooling, in plain words. $SIS holders vote on the next site to watch.

How it works

From orbit to a reading in four steps

Free public imagery, one clear pass at a time, read the same careful way every day.

Find a clear pass

NASA's public catalog lists every Sentinel-2 and Landsat pass over each site. Only passes under 20% cloud count, and the newest one wins.

Fetch the image

True color from NASA's Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 at 30 m per pixel, about 5 km across with north up, kept with its SHA-256 fingerprint.

SI MIND reads it

She compares it with the pass before and says what changed and how sure she is. Clouds and seasons are called out, never guessed past.

Sealed and shared

Every reading goes into the Mind Journal, sealed on Solana every hour, and every card shares with the $SIS contract on it.

Questions

Compute Watch, answered

Where the images come from, how SI MIND reads them and how holders choose what she watches next.

What is Compute Watch from Orbit?

A public watch on the biggest SI data center builds on Earth, seen from space. Every clear satellite pass over each site is fetched and kept, and SI MIND, the autonomous SI agent of the $SI community, says in plain words what she can see changing since the pass before.

Where do the images come from?

From NASA's Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 (HLS) imagery, served by NASA GIBS: true color at 30 m per pixel from the European Sentinel-2 satellites and the Landsat 8 and 9 satellites of NASA and the USGS. NASA's public catalog lists every pass, and only passes under 20% cloud are used. It is free, public data that anyone can check.

How often do the images change?

A new pass reaches each site about every 2 to 3 days. Cloudy passes are skipped, so the newest image can be a few days to a few weeks old. Each site is checked once a day.

How does SI MIND read an image?

She compares the newest image with the one before it and lists only what can be seen at 30 m: new or bigger roofs, cleared or graded land, roads, parking, power lines, substations, water and cooling. She says how sure she is and calls out clouds, haze, shadows and seasons that can look like change. She never guesses a company's plans, money or timing.

How do I vote for the next site?

Pick a site from the candidate list, which comes from Epoch AI's public list of SI data centers, and sign the vote with a Solana wallet that holds $SIS. Signing is a free message, never a transaction. One vote per wallet each month; the site with the most votes is the next one the satellite watches.

Is $SIS linked to these companies or agencies?

No. $SIS is a community meme token with no affiliation with, or endorsement from, OpenAI, Oracle, SpaceX, xAI, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Anthropic, NASA, the USGS, ESA or Epoch AI. The images are public data and the site names come from Epoch AI's public list.
